The girls’ varsity golf team had a game on September 9 at the Winnemucca Golf Course.
Elko placed first with 373 strokes. Lowry placed second with 377 strokes. Fernley placed third.
Placing second is a great start to the season for the team.
“Our team did well, but there are some things we could work on,” said Alyssa Dendary.
Alyssa Dendary placed second with 79 strokes. Elise Rose with 88 strokes. Savannah Cox and Brooklyn Backus both got 105 strokes. Veronica Jones with 115 strokes.
The next tournament is on September 23 and 24.
