As spring rolls around, you can hear birds chirping and bats cracking. That’s right folks it’s baseball season, and Lowry’s JV baseball team is preparing for their first scrimmage against the Spring Creek Spartans.

With a new coaching staff that consists of Jim Flanders, Austin Mayo, and Will Cooney, the team continues to work hard every day at practice.

“I’m excited to see what we are going to do this year. We have talent, we just need to put it all together on the field. Spring Creek should give us a pretty good idea of what we need to work on before we begin with league play,” said Mayo.

This year’s roster includes Nathen Blanco, Emilio Duarte, Nico Espinola, Anthony Good, Travis Hardy, Jacob Hernandez, Ren Mattson, Adrian Mendoza, Darrin Nelson, Michael Rangel, Riley Sakurada, Seth Scott, Ty Scott, and Kyle Young.
