The JV boy’s basketball team continued its great season on Tuesday, at Lowry, against the Fernley Vaqueros. They won 61-52 and came back from a 9-point deficit once in the game.
“This game went really well for us. Everyone worked really hard and didn’t quit trying even when we were losing. At one point in the game, we were losing by nine points and caught back up, then we were losing by five and caught back up again and that’s impressive that my team didn’t quit on me,” explained coach Grant Beatty.
The players on the team also thought the game went ideally.
“All of us played well together and worked good offensively and defensively. We all knew where we were supposed to be and it turned out really well,” said Brayden Jensen.
The team will play Spring Creek next Tuesday in Spring Creek for Winterfest.
