JV girls soccer finishes off homecoming week with a win

Homecoming week the JV girls soccer team had three games. Their Monday game October 6, against Truckee the girls lost 9-0. On Tuesday the Lady Bucks played Fallon losing 1-0. And on Saturday of homecoming week October 11, they played Sparks and came home with a 3-0 win.

“We’ve won a few and we’ve lost a few,” said Trista Furrh.

All soccer players deserve props for running multiple miles every day and playing up and down the field for 90 minutes. With all the hard work, the girls have the most important skill, teamwork.

“Our season so far has been decent, we’ve lost some games. But as a team we work really well as long as we put in our best effort, that’s all that counts,” said Vanessa Diaz.

The team is just over halfway through their season and is working hard to finish it up strong.

“We need to work on harder and faster passes. Our team’s strength is our teamwork,” said Alexa Wolicki.

The Buckaroos are sure to be out on the field every day practicing and ameliorating and then razing the competition in every game.
