The JV girls finished off the season with a stellar season.

The Lady bucks had lot’s of returning players this year on the team, which made the new players learn the drills and plays very quick. The JV girls had a successful season with mostly all wins. The team has done good this season according to coach Joelle Cooper.

“I was impressed with my team’s season this year, twelve wins four losses and one tie was our record,” said Cooper.

The team learned a lot of drills and techniques throughout the season.

“The girls picked up on their communication skills and passing skills very quickly on the field, by working on it everyday at practice,” said Cooper.

The team struggled with a few teams this season but won most of their games.

Junior, and one of the captains of the team Hannah Growcock, said “I think we did good and we went against good competition and had multiple teams that had us worried for a bit, but then we regrouped and got the win.”

The girls also had a good season due to getting along and helping each other out.

“I had a very good season with an amazing team, and teaching some new players our drills,” said sophomore, and one of the defensive players Mikayla Bennette.

With some of the new players and different positioning on the field it was uncertain of how strong the team might be.

“I wasn’t sure how strong we would be this year without some key defensive players, but the team meshed well together and came out on the winning side,” said Bennette.

The team was happy with the season and their teamwork this season and are looking forward to next year soccer season.
