Lowry soccer traveled to South Tahoe on September 16, and it was a close game.
The Lady Bucks scored the first goal in the first half, but the Vikings tied the game in the second half.
Sophomore defensive player, Dacotah Anelli, stated that she “was very nervous going into the game. In our past year, we had a hard time playing them.”
South Tahoe is “quite the team,” Anelli said.“I was very impressed with how everyone played.”
South Tahoe has been known as a tough team to play.
“They were a pretty good team; they were faster than we thought they’d be,” said junior goalkeeper Hannah Growcock.
JV soccer will be back at it on September 27 at Lowry.
