FBLA is selling personalized vinyl and calendars to fundraise for their trip to the state FBLA conference. The calendars will be printed on glossy paper with wire binding and cost $10. FBLA gives you the opportunity to customize vinyl for whatever surface you can think of. Even hydro flask stickers.
“We’ve done vinyl on glass cutting boards and stickers,” said FBLA advisor, Lisa Scott. “Anything you want to put vinyl on. I’ve done water bottles. Anything like that kind of surface, you can put vinyl on.”
The vinyls and calendars make great gifts for any audience.
“We make bumper stickers that you could give to anybody that has a car and goes to school here,” said Scott. “I’ve sold cutting boards. A lot of times, moms like things like cutting boards. Everybody has water bottles.”
FBLA’s fundraiser provides students and faculty alike with the opportunity to gift something really special, rather than something generic everyone buys at Walmart.
“The main thing about it is that it is something that can be personalized,” said Scott. “If you have a water bottle with your name on it, you’re less likely to lose it.”
Purchasing a Christmas gift through FBLA goes towards a good cause.
“This helps offset our travel cost to the state FBLA conference,” said Scott. “At state, the kids go to workshops, they go to training, they compete, and so they have the opportunity to win competitions.”
Be sure to check out the personalized vinyl and calendar options in Scott’s room. She will be offering instruction on December 4 and 5.
