Sophomore Angel Galarza was chosen for Student-Athlete of the Week by JV coach Brian Shettler. Shettler was happy with the way his team played.
“We had a great game against South Tahoe,” said Shettler. “The kids played hard from the first whistle to the end of the game.”
Angel was chosen by Shetler because of his role in the goal box.
“He is a great leader and always gives his team a chance to win,” said Shettler.
The JV boys’ soccer team plays next September 30, against Sparks at home.
