Junior Dorsey Naveran was chosen by coach Taua Cabatbat as Student-Athlete of the Week.
Naveran is a very consistent player for Lowry’s varsity football team, according to Cabatbat and coach Tyrell Lucas.
“He’s an all-around good player. He plays offense, defense; all of it,” said Cabatbat.
Naveran plays hard and is important to the team.
Lucas said, “The coaches and team know he is reliable for plays.”
Naveran has quite the stamina and enjoys playing for Lowry.
According to Cabatbat, “He never comes off the field, and he never asks to either.”
Naveran and Lowry’s varsity team will be playing again on October 6 at home, for the homecoming game.
