Junior Hailey Fernandez was picked as Student-Athlete of the Week by coach Jennifer Partee of the varsity girls’ soccer team.
Partee chose Fernandez because of her hard work and consistency on the field.
‘’She has worked towards becoming a more aggressive player on the field, and we definitely saw toughness this week,’’ said Partee.
Partee added that Fernandez’ shots were on point.
“Her shots are on target, and it has made a difference in our scoring capability,’’ said Partee.
Lowry will host Churchill on September 13 at home.
