This week’s top athlete is a very outgoing and all-around good guy, Jed Teichert. Teichert is currently participating in track and is quite good in his events. He runs the 400-meter dash and a few relays with his fellow varsity members.
The coaches all agree that Teichert goofs around in practice, but always does what he is asked to his best ability.
“Jed is really athletic and is always having fun practicing,” said Kristee Brinkerhoff, Teichert’s sprinting coach.
Even though he does goof around, he is still a great athlete because of the eventual hard work he puts in.
Teichert does well in all his events, leaving other runners in the dust.
Teichert has run track two years in a row now and plans to keep running because he just loves track and running with friends. There is a meet this Saturday at Churchill County High School. Another meet that will be at Lowry is on Saturday, May 2.
