This week’s Student-Athlete of the Week from the Lowry JV baseball team is Tyler Neu. Neu was selected by coach Andy Harmon, who has been impressed with Neu’s performance and his efforts to get better.
“Tyler had an excellent week, going 8 for 12 at the plate, with 7 RBI,” said Harmon. “He continues to impress the coaching staff with his work ethic. Tyler shows up to practice every day ready to work hard and improve, which has led to his success during games.”
Neu is happy with how the season is going, but feels the team needs to finish games while he needs to work on defense and his ability to be a leader for the team.
“So far, the season is going pretty well, though it could be better,” said Neu. “The team needs to work on finishing games, while I need to work on my defense and being a leader.”
JV baseball plays again on Saturday, April 15, at South Tahoe.
