This week’s Student-Athlete of the Week for JV girls soccer is forward Viviana Alanis.
Coach Mattie Swensen chose Vivianna for Athlete of the Week because of the enthusiasm.
“Viviana brings a lot to the team,” said Swensen. “She keeps a positive attitude during practices and never complains.”
Swensen also said that she chose Viviana for her abilities as a player on the field.
“I feel confident in her ability when she is on the field both offensively and defensively,” said Swensen.
Throughout the season, Vivianna has helped the team out with her accomplishments.
“She played a huge role in helping our team accomplish the three team goals that we set for each game,” said Swensen.
Viviana expressed how she feels about her fall athletic accomplishments and the dynamics of her team.
“My favorite thing about the season is our team bond and how whenever we’re with each other, it’s a lot of fun,” said Alanis.
Alanis plans to play soccer next season as well.
“I’m gonna play next year for sure, and I’m excited about it,” said Alanis.
