Lowry came together and beat Truckee on Friday 46-26, hard work and determination drove Lady Bucks to win the game.
Although the team is young and full of underclassmen they work together as a family on the court. The Bucks improve every day and they are looking forward to winning another game.
“We are a young team, and we improve every day. I am extremely happy to be a member of this team. We are really close and we are friends on and off the court,” said Payton Naveran, a freshman on varsity.
Lowry needs to work on putting up better shots in the game. That is what is hurting them most.
“We played hard and we just need to start making more shots,” Naveran.
The team’s next game is on January 15 against Elko high, one of Lowry’s biggest rivals.
