The Lady Bucks played phenomenally as they battled against the Vikings and came out of the weekend with all three wins.
In the first game on Friday, the Bucks dominated in the box. Shelby McKinnon hit two home runs, Ashlee Barron received a free base every time from being hit by the pitcher, and the rest of the team contributed by hitting gaps. The Lady Bucks not only had terrific offense but tough defense as well.
“We played as a team, if someone made a mistake we picked them up and got the next out we could,” said McKenna Jones.
The Bucks won the first game of the series and kept the energy going for the next two games on Saturday. In the first game, they won 14-3, but the next was a battle as they won 5-4 in eight innings.
The Lady Bucks will continue their season at home against Fernley on April 24.
