Foreign Language student Vyctorya Ponce has been selected as Student of the Week by Ms. Marie-Jeanne Dawson for her dedication and hard work in French III.
“She takes her French very seriously and is always pushing herself with her French education,” said Dawson.
Ponce is thrilled to be selected as the foreign language Student of the Week and expressed her gratitude for the nomination.
“I am very surprised, but very appreciative, I appreciate it a lot,” said Ponce.
This recognition speaks volumes about her dedication and work ethic, reflecting her positive attitude in language studies and other areas of her life.
“Vyctorya takes her French very seriously and is always pushing herself with her French education. She is going into French IV to further her French.
Dawson pointed out that Ponce is known to be a hard-working, wonderful, and respectful person.
“She is a wonderful, respectful, and hard-working individual,” said Dawson.
Ponce’s positive impact on her peers and teachers is evident, and her dedication to learning only adds to her great mind.
“Don’t stress too much about it; foreign languages aren’t always the easiest to learn, but if you’re really passionate about it, it’s definitely worth it,” said Ponce.
Beyond her academic achievements, Ponce is also actively involved in extracurricular activities, such as cheerleading.
“From what I know, she does cheerleading, and I know that she has joined the National Guard,” said Dawson
