What to Watch: Jets vs Patriots

To all the football fans out there, week seven will have a very interesting matchup. The 4-1 Jets will travel to New England to play the 5-0 Patriots. The Jets’ defense is ranked number one in the NFL right now. If the Jets want a chance to win, they will have to be constantly guarding Rob Gronkowski who averages 85 yards a game. The other threat is LeGarrette Blount who is a powerhouse when he feels like it Tom Brady is arguably one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time. Brady has one target down the field other than Gronkowski, and it is Julian Edelman.

The Jets however have multiple defensive threats, the best one being Darrelle Revis. Revis was a former Patriot so he may have an edge on Brady and the rest of the offense.

Chris Ivory, the running back for the Jets, has had a couple of breakout games, so it is hard to tell if he will be able to perform to his ability against the Patriots.

Another factor that may affect the Jets’ performance is the fact that they are playing at New England, which in the past has not gone well for any team.
