What to Watch: Real Salt Lake v. Philadelphia Union

If you are a soccer fan and want to watch a good soccer game, Real Salt Lake is playing the Philadelphia Union at Rio Tinto Stadium this weekend.

Real Salt Lake (RSL) is a loved team by many people because they are a talented team that occasionally loses to someone, but so do all teams. With their teamwork and overall performance, many of their games are quite exciting to watch, even if they are almost two hours long. RSL is in 7th place in the Western Conference right now.

The Philadelphia Union is also a talented team in the East Coast Conference of the MLS. In their standings, they are in 6th place. This game between these seemingly equal teams will take place on Saturday, March 14.

To get into the playoffs, both teams need to make it into the top six of their respective conference. If RSL wins this game it will boost them to sixth. But if RSL loses, they will most likely drop one maybe two, places since it is the beginning of the season and it will hurt them in the long run. As for Philadelphia, they are fine because they are already in the top six. If Philadelphia loses, they will drop to seventh making it hard to get back, but not impossible for them.

If you enjoy soccer or just don’t have something to do this weekend, watch this soccer match for a good game. This game will start at 6:30 p.m. Pacific Time (PST) on ESPN.
