The upcoming play “Beowulf” is a user-friendly play you can watch with the family.

“The play is medieval and is about a great warrior ‘Beowulf’ but Drama kinda had their own twist to the play,” said Walker.

“They added a lot of comedy to the play,” said Victor Rosas.

“Beowulf” is the story of an ancient warrior who arrives at the court of King Hrothgar and offers to free the kingdom of a vicious demon called Grendel.

The play is great for the family and if you want to just have a laugh.

“I think ‘Beowulf’ is funny and full of taste, and coming along great. ‘Beowulf’ is great for families,” said Ryan Johnson.

Noah Walker, who plays a warrior, gets killed by Grendel the swamp monster in the second mead hall scene.

“The medieval play is a great comedy to watch with your buddies,” said Walker

Lowry Drama and Stagecraft will perform on October 16, 17 and 18. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.
