Junior Ashley Salgado was chosen as Performer of the Week by music director, Paul Criddle.
An active leader in Lowry’s music program, Salgado plays the flute and piccolo in the band, and is treasurer of the swing choir. Her dedication and hard work was the basis of her selection.
“Ashley really tries hard and is the master of her instruments. She puts forth a lot of effort in getting the uniforms organized for swing choir,” said Criddle.
Lowry’s pep band will be performing on Friday, September 22, at varsity football’s home game.
