“YOU” shocked the internet when it came out in early September.

If you like scary and suspenseful shows or movies, this series is just right for you.

“YOU” is based on the 2014 novel by Caroline Kepnes. The book was named “Thriller of the Year” by Daily Mail.

A bookstore manager named Joe Goldberg then falls in love with one of his customers. Every time she comes into the store, he approaches her and there’s the dialogue of the creepy observations he makes. He then gets her full name, Guinevere Beck, and stalks her social media pages, and soon finds her apartment. Joe then finds out Beck has a boyfriend named Benji, gets jealous kidnaps him, and locks him in the bookstore basement.

Beck’s best friend, Peach, is the next to get in between them as she has it out for Joe. She is holding something against Beck and Joe will be the first to find out what it is. He tells Beck and she doesn’t believe him so Joe and Peach end up getting in a fight involving a gun.

The series is all about what happens in modern-day relationships and the signs of a creeper. There is a 74% rating on Metacritic and a 90% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and a total of 8.1 out of 10. I personally give it a solid 10/10 because it is very interesting and every episode makes you wonder what’s coming up. If you are still reading this, you should stop and go binge the series on Netflix right now.
