For the Artist of the Week, Rosa Ibarra was chosen by Ms. Julia Topholm for her artistic skills.
Ibarra is very talented in the world of art.
“Rosa is in Advanced Art and she is a young woman with tremendous natural talent,” said Topholm.
Her artistic style is very unique and she incorporates her heritage into her work which is showcased in the mural she and her teammate completed this year,” said Topholm.
Rosa uses art as a way to be her most creative self.
“My favorite part about art is being able to be myself and being creative,” said Ibarra.
Art for Rosa is her way of making her own world.
“Art is my way of escaping reality and creating my own world,” said Ibarra.
Art takes a lot of practice, and Ibarra is very committed to it.
“I have been doing art for a long time, I have always found it very interesting,” said Ibarra.
