Fake News: Mrs. Watts set to return in new role

Ms. Debbie Watts is returning next semester as the new lunch detention teacher. Watts retired at the end of last year and Mr. Ray Parks was selected as the new principal.

Due to budget shortfalls the district is looking for ways to save money. One approach they have taken is to reach out to retired educators and have them return as unpaid volunteers.

Watts was glad for the opportunity to help out the school in its time of need.

She will be keeping kids in line and making them pick up litter outside for doing something bad or for violating the tardy policy.

“Mrs. Watts will definitely be a big help to our school and she will be a great faculty member to help with discipline issues. Her experience will definitely be an asset to the school,” said Parks.

Even our weights teacher Mr. Taua Cabatbat was emotional about the impending return of his former leader.

“Without her I am nothing. Without her here I have no structure, no guidance, and no great leadership. I miss her greatly,” said Cabatbat.

The new vice principal, Mr. Tim Connors, responded with advice Watts could do to help with punishment.

“By having her back we could actually send those kids in lunch detention to the weight room where they could for once get a real workout by a real weight teacher,” said Connors.

The English, drama, and stagecraft teacher responded with wanting order again provided by Watts while she was the principal.

“It will be great to have the dress code monitored again,” said Mrs. Corrine James.

Also, Watts will be performing hall patrol when she is not running lunch detention. She will be walking around the halls looking for kids ditching class and wandering the halls for no reason.
