The Comprehension Life Skills (CLS) class is doing a drive to help victims of domestic violence. The drive begins November 1 and will end December 1.
“I believe fundraising for domestic violence brings awareness to our community. Domestic violence is often overlooked or denied. Donate and give to families in crisis,” said CLS classroom teacher Heather Facey.
The purpose for this drive is to collect kitchenware such as pots and pans, spatulas, cooking utensils, storage containers, can openers, oven mitts, dish towels, toasters, coffee pots, and microwave ovens. These items can be supplied by donating old kitchenware that is in good shape but no longer used. You can drop off these items in classroom 108 at Lowry.
