There was a good time had by all, except Elko on Wednesday’s game. Lowry won their game against Elko in five matches. Even though they had another victory, they are still second in the state, with Elko being first.
The team has come a long way since their first game and it is very apparent. They are working together more and becoming a better team.
“We did amazingly well as a team. We played well and smart during games one and two, but during the third and fourth we hit a low. During the fifth game, we realized we wanted to go to state and we ended up beating Elko finally. Our student section and having a lot of people at the game helped a lot,” said player Juliana Velasco.
The girls will be headed to the playoffs on November 15 at Lowry and they will be playing for a chance at the state title.
