Junior Elise Rose was selected by her coach Todd Milton as Student-Athlete of the Week for her outstanding performance at the latest golf tournament.
Rose began golfing her freshman year and she proved to have a knack for the sport and she quickly became a top contender in the league. She thoroughly enjoys playing golf and admits there are a few things she needs to work on and believes the team is very strong this year.
“I like playing in the tournaments with the friends that I’ve made from the other towns. I need to work on my club head speed especially and I think our team’s short game is good,” said Rose.
The girl’s golf team is back in action at Wildcreek Golf Course on Thursday, October 1.
