On Thursday, October 8, the girls’ golf team captured the Northern Division 1A league title on its home course.
The team finished the day with a score of 373 ahead of Elko at 401 and Spring Creek at 402.
Tatyana Carlson played well throughout the tournament and finished 3rd overall after shooting an 83. She had an all-around good day with good drives, approach shots, and putts.
“We took first in the region after playing in Fernley for our last tournament. Tatyana Carlson played really well and took 3rd at the tournament individually with an 83,” said Carlson’s teammate Elise Rose about the team’s performance in their home tournament.
