Lowry JV girls played Tuesday, October 27 against Elko the game was played at Lowry. Both teams played defense very well as the final score was 0-0.
“We played well, our shots just wouldn’t go in though,” said sophomore Sam Diaz.
The Lady Bucks did some good things like keeping the ball in their possession. Elko however did perform very well during the game to prevent Lowry from scoring, which seemed to be a problem for both teams. Despite what Lowry did well as a team they did make some mistakes.
“Our communication could have been better,” said Diaz.
Without having good communication on the field Elko tried to do everything they could to score.
“I think their defense played well. They stopped multiple shots that we took,” said sophomore Lexi Wolicki.
The JV girls went on to play a couple more games that week which wrapped up their season.
“We improved a ton from the beginning of the season to the end,” said Hailey Fernandez.
“I think we will have a successful season next year because we have many athletic and dedicated players,” added Fernandez.
