Lowry High’s Drama & Stagecrafts is ready to share some of their favorite things with the Winnemucca community. They will be putting on a production, “A Few of My Favorite Things” on Wednesday, December 16, and Thursday, December 17. The night will have everything from monologues to comedy to musical performances and all who come are guaranteed to leave filled with Holiday spirit.

“I think it will be a great opportunity for us to try out a different genre of acting. I’m also excited to sing our hearts out,” said drama student, Kenzie Johnson.

Stagecrafts has been working diligently the last few weeks to create props and a stage to wow the entire audience.

“I love Christmas time and this production involves so much Christmas and the stage is beautifully decorated with lights and so many other surprises,” said Stagecrafts student Kenadee Jeppsen.

The production will be different from any other Lowry has ever put on.

“It’s going to allow everyone to shine alone on stage and have their presence. I think it will be a whole new experience knowing everyone’s eyes are on you and no one else,” said Shaelyn Forney.

This production is not recommended for easily offended audiences. It explores many struggles of teens today. It will begin at 7 p.m. and they will be seated at 6:30 p.m. The cost is $3 for students and $5 for adults.
