‘American Horror Story’ throughout the seasons

“American Horror Story: Murder House,” the first season, aired on December 21, 2011. The season takes place in Los Angeles, California during the year 2011 and centers on a family that moves into a house haunted by its former deceased occupants.

“American Horror Story: Asylum,” the second season, originally aired October 17, 2012, the story begins in 1964 at a fictional mental institution. It follows the stories of the inmates and employees who occupy it and includes flashbacks from their past.

“American Horror Story: Coven,” the third season aired on October 9, 2013. This season follows Salem descendants who stay at a boarding school. Danger lurks inside the academy’s past due to the mysterious butler, and his deep secrets.

Ladies and gentlemen, step right up to the big top and see the new “American Horror Story: Freak Show.” The new season premieres Wednesday

 Posted October 8. FX announced they were coming back with a fourth season in November 2013. They revealed it would be set at a carnival in the 1950s. This show is a thrill ride of some people’s biggest fears, but it’s a great show to watch because of the storylines it contains. Everyone has one deep fear and American Horror story portrays the 4 big ones, ghosts, crazy people, witches, and carnivals. What could be scarier? Yes, this sounds like a show one would avoid at all costs, but watch an episode and you’ll be hooked.
