This past weekend Lowry baseball faced off against two teams with their playoff chances at stake. The first team they faced was Fallon and the Bucks didn’t have a good game getting beat 10-1. It was not the performance the Bucks wanted but the Greenwave played harder and came out with the win.
The next game was against Truckee; a team Lowry beat Truckee earlier in the year but came up short 12-9. Calvin Connors helped the team with three hits with seniors Jessie Studabaker, Michal Arenas, Tyler Brumm, Daniel Pollock, and junior Brandon Okuma all contributing with two hits each.
“Even though we got knocked out of the playoffs, Daniel finished a good career with a really good performance. The way he lead and fought says a lot about his character,” said coach Ron Espinola.
The team finished the season with an overall record of 17-12.
