After a good win over the opposing Elko team, coach Grant Beatty selected Dominic Diaz as Athlete of the Week for the freshman boy’s basketball team after his performance in the game.
“Diaz deserves Athlete of the Week because of his huge heart and leadership on the court. When he is on the floor he makes us go and when he’s off, we struggle a bit,” said Beatty.
Lowry’s upcoming games are a rematch against Fernley on January 19, and then play Spring Creek for the first time this season.
