This week head coach for the boy’s soccer team, Steve Swanson, selected Jose Acevedo as the Athlete of the Week.
“He’s a terrific soccer player with a really good attitude,” Swanson said.
“Every time there’s somebody on the field with a soccer ball and a couple of goals Jose is out here; he lives for the sport,”
“It makes me feel good,” said Acevedo on being selected, “it gives me confidence for our next games.”
Acevedo started off the year scoring four goals at the first tournament of the season and hopes to score more throughout the year.
