Bailey Miller was nominated for girls’ golf Student-Athlete of the Week for her hard-working ethic towards her sport. Coach Savannah Talbott picked Miller for her growth and dedication.
“Bailey has grown tremendously over the past year,” said Talbott.
As it is Miller’s second season, she has grown and learned new skills from her coaches.
“She is dedicated, focused, coachable, and always trying to improve on her game,” said Talbott.
With Miller being a straight-A student, she juggles between being dedicated to her work and still attending practices.
“It’s difficult to incorporate my school life with my outside life because sometimes school gets overwhelming with practices and being gone,” said Miller.
Miller loves golf for the love and support her team shares with each other.
“The team environment,” said Miller. “It’s a big team and we all work hard for it.”
The whole reason that Miller found a love for the sport was because of her friend dragging her onto the team.
“I started when my friend asked me to join the team and she got me in,” said Miller.
Miller shows hard dedication to her sport and education which shines towards her coaches making them proud of Miller.
