For this week’s CTE Student of the Week, Ms. Jennifer Montero picked Brennen Long for his help around the class and shop.
Montero appreciates Long’s knowledge of the shop, he helps her service the vehicles that come into the shop and he does an efficient job while getting it done promptly.
“Brennan helps service the vehicles that come into the shop by helping to change the oil and complete basic maintenance procedures,” said Montero
Brennan uses his prior knowledge from his job to do maintenance on vehicles in the shop.
“Brennan also works at Humboldt Ford and is working towards becoming a Service Technician,” said Montero.
Long enjoys Montero’s class not only because of the subject but because her classroom feels like home.
“The classroom itself is almost like a second home for me, the environment that Mrs. Montero provides to the students is easygoing and simple,” said Long.
Long appreciates the effort that Montero puts into the environment and her students individually.
“I love that she provides me with everything I need to get my work done quickly and effectively,” said Long.
Long gets his work done and helps Montero in class and the shop, which makes sense as to why he was recognized as this week’s Student of the Week.
