Fake News: Student surprised world does not revolve around him

Many children never realize that they are not the special little boy or girl that their parents said they were. One Lowry student recently had this rude awakening.

“I have always been a winner in the eyes of my parents, but I only just realized that the world revolves around other people,” said junior Salvador Perez.

“I think I know now that some of my so-called “friends” don’t like me, it’s not my fault they aren’t as cool as I am,” added Perez.

“I think Sal needs to learn to grow up and act more mature than he really is,” said Michael Rangel.

Sal has many possessions that he dwells on.

“My greatest possessions I own are my Kobe 9 Black History Month shoes. I also do have a pretty cool Escalade,” added Perez.

Although some people believe Perez is very conceited some think he can be nice.

“Sal is a genuine guy once you get to know him,” said Hannah Hillyer.

Sal will do anything to prove that he is the best.

“I remember one time when Michael was at my house and he beat me at Guitar Hero, so I went in my room and played the song on a real guitar to prove that I was better,” said Perez.

“I think Sal should just learn that there are other people out in the world who are better than him,” said Josh Warner.

Sal hasn’t had to overcome many tough obstacles during his life but maybe changing who he is in order to gain respect from other people will be his first.

“I will do anything I can to gain people’s respect and maybe get some more friends, and to everyone out there I am sorry for my conceited attitude,” said Perez.
