On Sunday, April 15, Lowry’s Future Business Leaders of America will be traveling to Reno for state competition. They will be leaving on Sunday and coming back on Wednesday.

Some of the competitions have already been taken with an online test. The rest of them will go down later.

“On Monday and Tuesday, the members will have presentations and they’ll present in front of judges and be scored,” said leader Lisa Scott. “I’m hoping they all do well.”

Freshman Lauren Fentress feels confident about giving her speech.

“At first I was super nervous, but once you get up there and start giving your speech, your nerves go away,” said Fentress.”
