Freshman football falls just short

Jaren Cornwall Posted October 4, 2010

On September 23, 2010, the freshman Bucks fell just short of a win over Elko with a score of 32-35. This was a disappointing loss for the freshman team coming so close to a win.

“It was a fun game, we had our chances to win, we came down to the wire, and we fell about six inches short,” said coach Greg Scott.

The frosh Bucks are determined to practice hard to come back next time for a win and work on the details so next time they come down to the wire they will have more than what it takes to beat the other team.

“Overall it was the little things that that cost us the game, so that’s what we’ll work on,” said freshman quarterback Tanner Lecumberry.

The freshman Bucks will be back in action on October 7 against Spring Creek.
