The Lady Bucks hosted North Tahoe on September 14 and were shut out, 7-0.

Even though they didn’t score, junior Julianna Gonzalez thinks the team performed pretty well against the Lakers.

“I think we did well for how advanced that team is; they had some pretty nice shots,” said Gonzalez. ”We could have done better; we just need to work on making our marks better and communication.”

Senior goalkeeper, Hannah Growcock, agreed that the Lady Bucks could have done better, but has faith they can take down North Tahoe next time.

“We could have done better,” said Growcock. “They were a pretty tough team, they’re pretty fast, they had some good shots on goal, and they made seven of them. Hopefully, we beat them next time.”

The Lady Bucks will be taking on the Incline Highlanders on Friday, September 21, and the South Tahoe Vikings the following day.
