On March 24, 2010 Governor Jim Gibbons wrote a letter to the Attorney General Catherine Cortez Masto. In the letter he directed her to take legal action against the federal government’s new healthcare legislation.

Gibbons said, “When President Obama signed the Reid/Pelosi Healthcare bill every Nevadan lost some freedom, this law forces every single Nevadan to buy health insurance or face the wrath of the Internal Revenue Services (IRS).” Gibbons also said that, “Many times that government has no business butting into the relationanship between a patient and doctor.”

Healthcare is a huge issue in Nevada there are to many different problems with the health plans that it is suggested it will never be fixed.

The new healthcare act forces Nevadans to buy health insurance and will raise the cost of Medicade by millions of dollars.

The easiest way for people to buy healthcare plans is to get them a good job.
