Higbee beats all odds at Bingo

Leadership prepared a great setup Tuesday thanks to the support of several businesses in Winnemucca. Various businesses donated items varying from bowling passes, to hair care products, to even $200. Announcing Bingo night were both Makayla Lopez and Carly Bell. Bell proved herself a great announcer both running bingo night as well as entertaining the crowd.
Ere Higbee seemed to have a lucky card winning three of the most popular prizes. One prize, based on hair care, included: a straightener, a haircut, hair care products, and several other random items. She also left with a new camping kit included with a George Strait set, several bowling passes, ice cream passes, etc. Overall, Higbee left with over two-hundred dollars in food tickets and even more bowling passes.

One of Bingo night’s most wanted prizes tends to be the free prom tickets. Last year, freshman Madison Mayo won these tickets. However, this year she was unable to do so and Junior Darrell Carden and his prom date got lucky with a free ride right into the annual event.

The final black-out prize was very simple and also popular. To win this prize each card was a dollar with students and others hoping to cover their whole card. With multiple students having only one space left on the card every one was jittery waiting for their space to be called. The winner was none other than The Brand’s very own Karen Esparza putting us all to shame as always.
