JV Boys Soccer defeated in doubleheader

It was a disappointing couple of games this weekend for the Buckaroos as the JV boy’s soccer team lost two games, one against South Tahoe and one against Fallon. The scores were 13-2 and 3-1, respectively.

During the South Tahoe game, the first goal was scored by the other team during the first ten minutes, and then the other one five minutes later. The Bucks seemed to lose hope and they were losing by 10 by the end of the first half.

After the coach pepped the team up for the second half, the Bucks came roaring out and managed to score two goals before the end of the game.
“If we played as hard in the first half as we did the second half we definitely could’ve had a chance,” said Steven Cholico.

However, their second game went much better as Fallon was the first to score but the Bucks made a quick recovery before long, ending the first half with a score of 1-1. Fallon did manage to make two goals during the second half, making the final score 3-1.

“We are a team, we take responsibility as a team. This week our punishment will be a lot of running and we run as a team and work as a team because that is how Buckaroo athletes better themselves,” said Cholico.
