JV boys’ soccer ends season with pride

The JV boys finished the season with a record of 5-9-2. The team had a few difficulties to overcome but had an overall successful season.

Malachi Blanco, the JV boys’ Midfielder, believes that everyone gained from their season together. Blanco had two goals going into this season that he hoped to accomplish.

“I expected to become a better player and become better at communicating with my teammates,” said Blanco.“I do think I accomplished those goals.”

Abhinav Subedi also set goals for himself this season and strived to have a better year than ever before.

“I wanted to just go out on the field and play confident because I had a hard time doing that last year,” said Subedi.

The team bonded and was able to have fun both on and off the field. Blanco enjoyed the bus rides with his teammates and was happy with the times they got to spend together.

“The bus rides, that’s when everyone is brought together and we’re having a good time,” said Blanco.

Both boys agreed there was one recurring problem throughout the season.

“There were communication problems and arguments every once in a while, but over the season, everything got better,” said Subedi.
