Basketball. Boys invented it, and girls perfected it. The time has come again, for the junior varsity girl’s basketball team to get some wins and take no prisoners.
“I love being a part of the team, and I’m super pumped to get to play again this year with some great teammates,” said Alily Kliewer.
Guard, Bailey Sapien is very excited to play basketball again this year.
“Basketball is very competitive and so am I, so it’s a pretty good balance I think,” Sapien said.
The girls have a decent winning streak and it will be hard to beat them. But don’t think that it isn’t hard work. The girls are made to condition extra hard when they don’t excel in a game. The better they perform, the easier and less stressful their practice is.
Twelve girls were fortunate enough to make the team. Those girls were Bailey Sapien, Hailey Hinkle, Kepa Bengochea, Kylie Sappington, Sydney Connors, Tailor West, Maddie McClellan, Rebecca Kuskie, Emily Cook, Alily Kliewer, Sam Diaz and Shelby Garrison.
