The Lady Bucks JV volleyball continues to raze the competition throughout the season. The girls started off their astounding season with an undefeated tournament in Truckee and then set off the season regular with a victory against Dayton and Fernley. Could they have started off the season any better?

“This season is fantastic, I love my team because all the girls are fun to be around,” said Alanna Miller.

Their captains are Aimee Brandon, Olivia Silva, Alanna Miller, and Tiana Herrera. Their manager is Amaya Herrera, and their coach is Cassie Jenkins.

They played Dayton Friday for homecoming and won their first match 25-18, and their second match 25-19, and they played Fernley Saturday and won the first match 25-22, and their second match 25-20

“Against Dayton, they started off a little slow, but we had some really good plays, and that got them going, and overall they played well,” said Coach Cassie Jenkins.

Sophomore Aimee Brandon had nothing but positive things to say about the team after the game.

“We have extraordinary teamwork on the court, and in practice. We have the ability to work on quicks, and execute them in the games,” said Aimee Brandon.

As they continue their undefeated season the team faces five more teams, three home games, and two away against Fallon and Spring Creek. The team will be back in action Friday against Sparks and Truckee.
