Lowry Leadership has announced that it will sponsor multiple events this week to raise awareness of bullying.
The events for the week will follow the schedule below.
Monday 11/16: High-five highway (Leadership students will greet students with a high-five line in the glass hallway starting at 7:45 am).
Tuesday 11/17: Pin a compliment on someone (Leadership students will be making clothes pins with positive compliments on them.) Students will be able to take one or two and pin them on another student.
Wednesday 11/18: Sam Glenn assembly (see schedule sent out by Mr. Connors) and Picture Day. We will have a backdrop made that will say, Kindness…Pass it on, along with other positive affirmations. Students will be invited to find someone new and have a picture taken with them, then tweet it as an act of kindness!
Thursday 11/19: Wanna Hug? Day. Leadership students and any others who want to, as well as faculty members, will wear shirts that say “Free Hugs or High Fives”. If students do not feel comfortable receiving a hug, we will give out high-fives instead.
Friday 11/20: Minimum day ** Bracelets will be sold all week by Leadership for $1.00. Stop by the Senior store in the mornings or the glass hallway at lunch.
