Lowry gets swept by Elko in three games

On Tuesday, October 26 the Lady Bucks traveled to Elko for the Bucks’ last away game.

The Lady Bucks lost the match in the span of three sets. In the first set, Lowry kept up with the Elko. Then Elko pulled away from Lowry, and the set ended in a 25-18 victory for Elko. In the second set the Lady Bucks couldn’t pull out a victory, and lost with the score of 25-16. In the third and final set, Lowry was looking to leave Elko with a win. But Elko had other plans; Elko won the final set with 25-20. Elko swept Lowry in three games.

“We just didn’t play as a team and didn’t communicate out there” said junior Betsy Guerrero.

The Lady Bucks will be into action on November 5 in Truckee for zone at 6 p.m.
