On Friday, October 12, the Lowry boys’ soccer fell to North Tahoe 5-1.
Lowry’s goal was scored by Jordan Wirthlin, but Lowry’s defense just couldn’t hold North Tahoe’s strikers back.
Brandon Lee, one of the captains for JV, believes his team played a good game.
“I think we did really well,” said Lee. “Our passing and talking were good.”
They have a few things to work on going into the end of their season.
“We need to work on our effort and finishing,” said Lee.
The JV coach, Vanessa Kestle, believes that her team performed very well.
“We played a good, hard game,” said Kestle. “North Tahoe has a good team put together, with some quick players. We gave them our best foot forward and our quickest speeds out on the field. We had some good shots on goal and great passes.”
Boys’ JV soccer hopes to improve and win their last couple of games. Their next game is against Fernley at home on Wednesday, October 17.
