The Lowry swim team recently went Northwest pool for the Aqua 5 swim meet hoping for good competition and to bring a couple of medals home in the process. The meet kicked off on Saturday, March 17 at 9 a.m. Throughout the day multiple Lowry athletes worked their way to the top of the leader boards while earning themselves multiple medals. Michael Drake finished 3rd overall while Johanna Christensen placed 2nd overall. The whole swim team placed 2nd out of 5 teams.
“Johanna beat a lot of her old times,” A.J. Jackson said, “I think she probably had the best performance.”
Overall the Lowry swim team had a successful day of work early in the season at the Aqua 5 swim meet.
