The varsity volleyball team ended their season with an 11-15 record. The team had a lot of fun and got to play together as a team.
“My favorite part of the season was getting to play with all of my best friends,” said Vanessa Lott, a setter.
Lott also had 49 kills on the season as an opposite hitter while totaling 154 assists.
Setter and hitter Allison Green was third on the team with 21 aces and enjoyed the time with her teammates.
“It went really well,” said Allison Green, a setter. “We had an amazing group of girls that always know how to have fun and motivate one another.”
Their coach, Skylar Estes, was glad that she had a season with an amazing group of girls and a good environment.
“Overall the season was a fun season with an amazing group of girls,” said Estes. “Getting to watch the team finally click and come together when we beat Dayton at home and then being able to laugh and have fun at practice where the environment always felt good.”
The team was able to enjoy their time together because the team was such a bonded group. Kalli Raabe enjoyed her teammates and is looking forward to playing her senior year.
“The season went by so fast,” said Raabe. “My team was definitely a team I have never experienced before and we all grew together every day.”
